sekitarbandung.com – Ahead of the West Java Investment Summit 2025 or WJIS 2025, which is planned to be held in November 2025, the West Java Investment and Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), Bank Indonesia West Java, and Bank BJB have organized the West Java Investment Roadshow or WJIR 2025.
At the WJIR 2025 roadshow, which took place in Jakarta on September 23, 2025, a number of major projects attracted the interest of investors, including the Kertajati Airport development project, the Bandung Regency LRT, and the street lighting project.
According to the Head of DPMPTSP West Java, Dedi Taufik, at the WJIR 2025 event in Jakarta, 16 projects in West Java were introduced, 10 of which were flagship projects from regions selected from the West Java Investment Challenge (WIJC) 2025 held in July in Bogor.
Meanwhile, the development of the Kertajati Airport area is the main project being prepared by West Java as part of the Rebana Area development.
The WJIR 2025 event in Jakarta is a series of events leading up to the WJIS 2025, which will be held in November 2025. Prior to the WJIR 2025 roadshow, the WJIS 2025 event was also held in July in Bogor.
The WJIC 2025 event in Bogor determined 10 leading projects proposed by cities/regencies in West Java, and finally 10 projects with a total investment value of Rp 24.67 trillion were selected. Later, the 10 selected projects will be offered to investors at the WJIS 2025 event.
Kertajati and Bandung Regency LRT Attract Investors
Head of the West Java DPMPTSP, Dedi Taufik, said that the roadshow was a strategic forum that brought together representatives from the central and regional governments, banks, international financial institutions, diplomatic representatives, as well as national and global investors to explore investment opportunities offered by West Java.
According to him, there are 16 priority investment projects with a total investment value offered with strategic value in the agribusiness, urban infrastructure, energy, and development areas sectors.
“The enthusiasm of investors is reflected in the signing of 27 Letters of Intent (LOI) as a form of initial commitment to explore investment opportunities in West Java,” said Dedi Taufik.
During the roadshow, direct meetings were held between investors and project holders in one-on-one sessions.
According to Dedi Taufik, the results of the one-on-one meetings showed high investor interest in various strategic sectors, especially in the BIJB Kertajati area.
Meanwhile, in the field of urban infrastructure, several large companies such as PT Mitsui Indonesia, Len Railway System, and Siemens Mobility were interested in mass transportation and street lighting projects.
Of the 16 projects offered, there is one mass transportation project, namely the Bandung Regency LRT project with an investment value of IDR 16 trillion.
In the property sector, Real Kaiten Consultancy & Investments Singapore has signed an MOU with PT BIJB to invest in several strategic projects owned by BIJB Kertajati.
“This investment plan is also supported by funding from Singaporean private equity firm Cuushstone,” he said.
