Bisnis.com, CIREBON - The Cirebon Regency Government said the plan to build a wind power plant (PLTB) in its area could boost the value of regional investment realization.
Acting Cirebon Regent Wahyu Mijaya said the government welcomes all investment activities in Cirebon Regency. Moreover, this West Java-Jateng border area is aiming for greater investment achievements.
"We support it because Cirebon Regency receives the benefits of the power plant," Wahyu said, Monday (24/6/2024).

However, Wahyu said, the local government will first communicate with the West Java Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Office regarding the existence of the power plant.
According to Wahyu, the government must conduct a study to ensure that the wind power plant provides great benefits for the people of Cirebon Regency.
"We in the government when there is a plan like this, we want to study it from its aspects, although we are sure that the party there has conducted a wind flow study because it must not stop," Wahyu said.
Based on information collected by the West Java Representative of Bisnis Indonesia's Green Economy Explore team, the location of the PLTB construction project will take place at several points in Sedong and Susukan Lebak Districts.
Monitoring in the field, the point is in Panongan Village, Winduhaji Village, Windujaya Village, Karangwuni Village, Susukan Lebak Village, and Sedong Kidul Village.
The power plant, which will be built by PT Wpd Indonesia Energy and PT Cirebon Tenaga Bayu, is planned to have a capacity of 100 to 150 megawatts (MW) with a 6 MW GWH182 goldwind turbine type.
Other information that has been collected, the newest power plant from Cirebon Regency has two interconnection points to the Mandirancan 150 KV Substation in Pancalang District, Kuningan Regency and the Kanci 150 KV Substation in Astanajapura District, Cirebon Regency.
Currently, PT Wpd Indonesia Energy and PT Cirebon Tenaga Bayu will continue the process of licensing activities that include the suitability of space utilization activities (KKPR) of the project location.
In addition, land acquisition will also be carried out in stages after the KKPR of the project is obtained and investment in the field of study and planning is carried out further.
