The 2024 Creative Market event is now entering its fifth point, namely on 23 Paskal. A total of 46 Bandung City MSMEs participated in this event.
These MSME players consist of fashion, crafts and culinary. The 2024 Creative Market was also held thanks to the collaboration of the Bandung City Department of Trade and Industry (Disdagin), Bandung City Dekranasda, and other collaborators.
Before being held at 23 Paskal, the Creative Market was also held at Kings Shopping Center, Trans Studio Mal, Paris Van Java, and Cihampelas Walk.
Acting Head of Bandung City Disdagin, Ronny Ahmad Nurudin, is optimistic that this activity can be a forum for Bandung City MSMEs to get lots of buyers. He also said that from the first 3 events alone, the Creative Market's turnover had reached IDR 5 billion.
"The turnover is definitely above IDR 5 billion. We haven't received the latest report yet. Only 3 malls have reached that figure," said Ronny, Monday (8/7/2024).
"We feel lucky, holding the 2024 Creative Market coincides with many big events in the city of Bandung. So many prospective buyers who come also come from outside the city of Bandung. Those who are traveling, go to the mall, then see the Creative Market," he said.
He also said that the presence of the Creative Market during holiday seasons such as school or lecture holidays also increases the number of visitors who attend. Moreover, recently the city of Bandung held many major celebrations, such as the 69th Anniversary of the Asia-Africa Conference.
"We received information that there were a lot of visitors and buyers. So not only did they visit, but they were immediately interested in buying. Moreover, each mall has its own segment," he said.
He invited Bandung City residents and tourists to shop at the Creative Market. Because, continued Ronny, local Bandung City products can now compete and follow market trends.
"Visit the malls, especially those holding the Creative Market. Let's shop for local products that are proud of the city of Bandung," he said.
Acting Chair of the Bandung City Dekranasda, Linda Nurani Hapsah, said that the Creative Market is an effort by the Bandung City Government to promote the best local products from the City of Bandung. Linda visited the 2024 Creative Market at 23 Paskal while chatting with all the MSME players there.
He also invited Bandung residents and tourists to stop by the 2024 Creative Market. Especially the one currently being held at 23 Paskal.
"Don't forget to come to 23 Paskal, don't forget to buy creative products from Bandung City MSMEs," he said.
For information, the 2024 Creative Market will be present on 23 Paskal between 5-14 July 2024. Furthermore, the final point of this activity will take place at the Citylink Festival, 12-21 July 2024.
