Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - Economic growth in Bogor Regency, West Java, continues to strengthen, with investment reaching trillions of rupiah in the first half of 2025, accompanied by 17,721 projects and the absorption of 24,624 workers.
Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto stated that these results demonstrate that the investment climate in Bogor Regency is increasingly conducive thanks to the synergy between the local government, business actors, and the community.
"Through this Investment and Spatial Planning Forum, we are promoting a conducive, competitive investment climate that is oriented towards economic progress and public welfare," said Rudy in Cibinong on Thursday.
He added that increased investment not only strengthens economic growth but also creates new jobs and improves public welfare.
The local government, he added, continues to maintain stability and provide facilities for investors.
Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang) of Bogor Regency, Bambam Seti Aji, stated that investment is a key pillar driving the regional economy.
"Sustainable investment can only be achieved if it aligns with an integrated and environmentally conscious regional spatial plan. The integration of industrialization and spatial planning policies is key to competitive development," he said.
As a token of appreciation for the business world, the Bogor Regency Government held the 2025 Best Investor Awards Night at the Harris Hotel in Cibinong City Mall on Tuesday evening (October 22nd). The event also served as a forum for fostering camaraderie and strengthening partnerships between the government and businesses.
The Bogor Regency Government presented seven award categories, including Largest Investment Realization in 2025, Best CSR Contribution for the 2016-2025 Period, and Best Investment in 2025.
In addition to the awards, the event also included the launch of the Bogor Regency Spatial Plan (RTRW) website and the KABISA (Bogor Regency One Access) portal to facilitate access for potential investors to information on spatial planning and investment potential.
On the same occasion, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Bogor Regency Government and PT Intra Golf Link Resort Tbk regarding corporate social responsibility for the major rehabilitation of the Citeureup Community Health Center building.
The event was attended by the Deputy Regent of Bogor, the Regional Secretary of Bogor Regency, members of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), and heads of regional government agencies throughout Bogor Regency.
