PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government has once again achieved a proud achievement on the regional stage. At the 7th West Java Investment Summit (WJIS) 2025, held at Pullman Bandung Grand Central on Friday (November 14, 2025), Bandung officially received the award for "The Most Attractive Investment Project."

It is a prestigious award that confirms the city's competitiveness and charm as a leading investment destination in West Java.

Since its inception in 2019, WJIS has become a benchmark for meetings between investors, industry players, and development stakeholders.

Organized by the West Java DPMPTSP in collaboration with the West Java Provincial Bank Indonesia Representative Office, this event consistently presents strategic investment opportunities while strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.

This year, WJIS carries the theme “Strengthening Regional Resilience through Green Industry, SMART, Investment and Inclusive Growth” an agenda that emphasizes West Java’s commitment to green development, smart growth, and an inclusive economy.

Cirebon Investment Reaches Rp2.25 Trillion by August 2025

This figure is equivalent to 65 percent of the annual target of Rp3.2 trillion. The Head of the Cirebon Regency Investment and Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), Hilmi Rivai, said that this achievement was quite encouraging. Collaboration between West Java BUMN and BUMD Encourages Optimization of Hazardous Waste Incinerators in West Java

TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG – West Java BUMD PT Jasa Medivest, which has been active for more than 18 years as a medical Hazardous and Toxic Material (B3) waste management company in West Java, is intensively innovating. One of the important initiatives is the optimization of the first incinerator machine, which aims to increase waste processing capacity to reach the latest standards, without ignoring the regulations in force in Indonesia. This optimization will start in 2023, with approval from the shareholders of PT Jasa Medivest and the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). One important step is the installation of pre-treatment equipment in the form of a mixing tank, which is the main requirement to meet the engineering standards being sought. BYD Accelerates Construction of Factory in Subang, Ensures Completion by End of 2025

Bekasi Regency Investment Realization in 2024 Reaches IDR 71.8 Trillion, Highest in West Java

PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Bekasi Regency has again recorded the highest investment realization in West Java with a value reaching IDR 71.8 trillion throughout 2024. This figure contributed around 28.6 percent of the total investment in West Java and exceeded the target set by the West Java Provincial Government of IDR 64 trillion. Acting Regent of Bekasi, Dedy Supriyadi, said that this achievement shows investor confidence in Bekasi Regency as a profitable and lucrative investment location. In terms of the country of origin of investment, Singapore was the largest contributor at IDR 13.34 trillion, followed by Japan (IDR 12.46 trillion), the Netherlands (IDR 4.63 trillion), and South Korea (IDR 4.34 trillion). In addition, Bekasi Regency is also the area with the highest labor absorption in West Java, reaching 63,148 workers. In detail, PMDN absorbed 35,137 workers (55.64 percent) and PMA absorbed 28,011 workers (44.36 percent).
