West Java DPMPTSP Launches Provincial Integrated Service Center
Bisnis.com, BANDUNG -- The West Java Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP) launched an Integrated Public Service Center (P3T) to make it easier for MSMEs to process permits.
The program was launched involving related agencies in West Java, such as the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, BPOM, and the National Standardization Agency.
"Our idea is to create integrated public services and involve vertical agencies which so far have not been captured by districts, cities and other regions," said Head of the West Java Provincial Government's PMPTSP Service, Nining Yulistiani, at the Mason Pine Hotel, West Bandung Regency, Tuesday (13/2/ 2024).
For MSME players, certification is important because it can make product quality more trusted by consumers. Through P3T, public services to obtain certification are easier and cut costs.
"The public has seen that the old certification service is difficult and has high costs. That stigma will disappear with the existence of this public service," he said. In the future, it is possible that this program will be adopted in 27 other cities and districts in West Java so that it will be easier for people to process permits.
This year, it is targeted that more MSME products will be certified so that they are more trustworthy and easier to market.
"Last year's integrated service received a response of 1,200 applicants a day who wanted to access it. This is exactly the same as the four institutions involved. From there we can see the real community because they don't know so they don't make the effort," he said.
His party will also hold an on-the-spot program in city districts to get closer to the community to provide services. "We will also launch mass integrated services in June and at the end of the year," he continued.
At the same location, the Head of the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Andika Dwi Prasetya, appreciated the P3T program which had just been launched. Through this program, it will be easier for his party to reach and provide services to the community.
"We get access to more closely serve the community for our institutional needs, especially in intellectual property interests," he said.
For your information, there are a number of services provided by the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, namely copyright, patent rights, brand rights, and communal intellectual property. So far, copyright is the sector most frequently submitted by the public.
"Now, for halal licensing and national standards, it is mandatory to first register the brand. With this one integrated service point, it will be easier for the public," he said.
BPOM itself ensures that the existence of P3T can encourage business actors to take care of permits related to the suitability of food or cosmetic products.
Interest in applying for permits will certainly be higher once the P3T service is available. Data on applications for the licensing process at BBPOM POM Bandung in 2023 will reach 363.
