berita.depok.go.id - Head of the One Stop Integrated Service Investment Service (DPMPTSP) of West Java Province (Jabar) Nining Yuliastiani said that the presence of a Public Service Mall (MPP) in Depok City would increase investment.

According to him, Depok City can be used as an investment destination, especially since its position is close to DKI Jakarta.

He said, the presence of MPP could have a significant impact on creating services that are more easily accessible to the public.

MPP can stimulate the community's economy and revive the surge of city development, with the ultimate goal of building progress for the community.

"Easy and fast service is the key and essence of developing Public Service Malls. This can be realized by service providers in government agencies, through MPP which is a combination of services from central agencies and regional governments, as well as BUMN/BUMD," he said to Berita.depok. go.id, after attending the soft launching of the Depok City MPP at Depok City Hall, Friday (29/12/23).

He said that the potential in Depok City itself is occupied by the Trade and Services sector in the form of housing, industrial areas and offices.

"Based on our data, in the third quarter of 2023, the investment value in Depok City will have reached 70 percent from IDR 4.31 trillion, to IDR 2.98 trillion. "We are optimistic that we can achieve the target while it is still being calculated, of course," he added.

"Depok is an urban city. This position has great potential. Moreover, Depok is adjacent to the Jakarta Special Region (DKJ)," he said.

"So you really have to be able to compete to get investors to come to Depok. Because it is also supported by good transportation, human resources (HR) and infrastructure," he concluded. (JD03/ED 02)
