West Java Investment Summit 2024 is ready to be held, here's how it attracted investors
BANDUNG CITY - The Office of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) with the West Java Representative Office of Bank Indonesia, again held the West Java Investment Summit (WJIS) 2024.
The WJIS was held with the main objective of attracting both domestic and international investors, to invest in West Java (Jabar).
This activity has been held since 2019, with different themes in accordance with the direction of West Java's development.
WJIS activities also feature various projects that are ready to be offered to domestic and foreign investors, from various leading sectors in West Java.
More than just a promotional event for investment projects, WJIS also focuses on encouraging inclusive and sustainable development issues.
Through WJIS, West Java hopes to expand investment outreach, strengthen regional competitiveness, and contribute to economic progress at the national and international levels.
Since it was first held in 2019, the collaboration between the West Java Province PMPTSP Office and the West Java Representative Office of Bank Indonesia has made the West Java Investment Summit (WJIS) an important event in attracting investment flows to West Java.
Every year, WJIS not only attracts local and foreign investors, but also confirms West Java's position as a major investment destination in Indonesia.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, WJIS 2020 continued to be held virtually, adjusting the focus on important sectors such as healthcare, digital infrastructure, and renewable energy to support economic recovery.
In 2021, the WJIS theme shifted to sustainable economic recovery and technological innovation, while 2022 emphasized collaboration between the government and the private sector, especially in renewable energy projects and green industrial park development.
In 2023, interest from international investors, particularly from East Asia and Europe, intensified, strengthening West Java's position as a global investment destination.
WJIS 2024 returns with the theme “Unleashing West Java Investment Potencies”, by carrying out this theme West Java seeks to optimize all the potential and investment opportunities owned by West Java.
