INILAHKORAN, Bogor - The Bogor City DPRD together with the Bogor City Government have adopted a Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) concerning Providing Incentives and Ease of Investment to become a (Regional Regulation).

Spokesperson for the Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) of the Bogor City DPRD, Eka Wardhana, said that the Draft Regional Regulation on Providing Incentives and Ease of Investment had received facilitation from the Regional Secretariat of West Java Province and made improvements in terms of consideration, weighing, legal basis and body in accordance with the latest statutory provisions.

"This draft regional regulation is intended to create legal certainty and as a guideline in providing incentives and ease of investment to increase investment and equitable development in the region. We hope that with this draft regional regulation, economic growth in the city of Bogor can increase accompanied by the creation of new jobs," said Eka to journalists on Thursday 10 October 2024.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, took the decision to enact the Draft Regional Regulation on Providing Incentives and Ease of Investment into a Regional Regulation based on the approval of all members of the Bogor City DPRD.

"We ask the Bogor City Government to immediately formalize and prepare a Perwali as a technical guideline for implementing the Regional Regulation," he explained.

Separately, Acting Mayor of Bogor Hery Antasari expressed his thanks to the leadership and members of the DPRD who had discussed and approved the Draft Regional Regulation on Providing Incentives and Ease of Investment.

Hery continued, it is hoped that the presence of this Regional Regulation will provide legal certainty and serve as a guideline in providing incentives and ease of investment in the Bogor City area and that the regional government can prioritize the provision of incentives and/or the provision of ease of investment for certain types of business or certain activities, such as micro businesses and cooperatives. .

"This draft regional regulation is expected to create attraction or stimulate more investors to invest in the city of Bogor in order to create a competitive investment climate, increase access and economic capabilities," he concluded.
