Sumedang has Jatigede Dam which is one of the largest dams in Southeast Asia,

and has an exotic natural landscape. In order to realize Sumedang as a City of

Tourism in West Java to realize the improvement of the welfare of the people of

Sumedang through the tourism industry sector.

The Sumedang district government plans to propose the development of a

special economic zone for Jatigede tourism, with an estimated project value of

IDR 1,2 Trilyun.

PT Kampung Makmur was given a mandate base on Sumedang Government

Regulation No. 110

of 2020

concerning the Appointment of PT. Kampung

Makmur to prepare

for the

development of the Jatigede Tourism Special

Economic Zone.
