West Java Tourism and Culture Office Introduces Digital Innovation for Tourism Data Center

The West Java Provincial Tourism and Culture Office (Disparbud Jabar) continues to innovate in its public services. One of its latest initiatives is providing accurate, up-to-date, integrated, and accountable tourism development data.

This innovation complements the existing Open Data Jabar platform. The West Java Tourism Development Information Repository System is strategically designed to ensure data management remains structured, standardized, and sustainable.

"The purpose of creating the West Java Tourism Development Information Repository System is to establish a centralized tourism data hub that is well-organized, easily accessible, and reliable as a foundation for West Java's tourism development," said the Head of Disparbud Jabar, Iendra Sofyan.

"This system also serves as a cross-sector collaboration space, given that tourism development involves not only the tourism office but also other regional government agencies, vertical institutions, statistical agencies, businesses, communities, associations, and the general public," he added.

Furthermore, the system aims to improve the validation of tourism development data and information. This will serve as a baseline for planning, monitoring, evaluation, index assessment, and tourism development investment in West Java. The system aggregates various crucial data from all development activities connected to the tourism sector.

With the launch of this system, the West Java Provincial Government strengthens its commitment to managing a more integrated and open tourism ecosystem. This step is expected to boost the competitiveness of West Java tourism while building trust among tourists, businesses, and investors regarding the region's tourism potential.

Investors will invest more than IDR 12 trillion in Bogor Regency during 2023

METROPOLITAN.id - No less than IDR 12 Trillion of investment has been entered into Bogor Regency over the past year. This achievement makes Bogor Regency ranked third in West Java for investment realization in 2023. Head of the Bogor Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP), Irwan Purnawan, said that the investment realization of IDR 12 trillion had exceeded the target set for 2023, namely IDR 9 trillion. "Investment realization could increase. Because the latest data only reaches the third quarter or September 2023. It will be recapitulated again at the end of the fourth quarter," said Irwan Purnawan. Irwan explained that Domestic Investment (PMDN) still dominates in Bogor Regency with an investment value of more than IDR 8.8 trillion. Meanwhile, Foreign Investment (PMA) is around IDR 3.16 trillion. Apart from that, the realization of investment which has exceeded the target was also accompanied by employment in Bogor Regency which reached 23,537 people. Overall, investment realization for both PMA and PMDN in 27 cities/districts throughout West Java based on the Investment Activity Report (LKPM) for the period January - September 2023 is more than IDR 153.2 trillion with a workforce absorption of 192,414 people. "Of this amount, Bogor Regency contributed 7.87 percent to investment realization in West Java," said Irwan. Irwan also said that with the current conditions, it is possible that the amount of investment in the Regency will increase again. Participating in the 2024 CAEXPO Exhibition, the Ministry of Trade is Optimistic that Indonesia-China Trade and Investment will Increase

Jakarta, 18 September 2024 – Indonesia is ready to participate in the 21st annual China–ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) exhibition which will be held at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICEC), Nanning, China. The physical exhibition will be held on 24-28 September 2024, while the online exhibition will be held from 24 September 2024 to 31 December 2024 via the CAEXPO online platform.Director General of National Export Development of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, Mardyana Listyowati, responded positively to Indonesia's participation in the 21st CAEXPO. He said that the Indonesian Ministry of Trade was optimistic that Indonesia-China trade and investment would increase."This exhibition is a strategic forum to promote trade and investment, both for Indonesia and other ASEAN countries. "By attending CAEXPO 2024, we are optimistic that trade and investment cooperation between Indonesia and China will continue to increase," said Mardyana. Mardyana also said that this year marked the first time the exhibition was held for five days. Bey Optimistic New Walahar Bridge Will Further Support Community Economy

The reason is, said Bey, this bridge connects two districts in Karawang Regency, namely Ciampel and Klari which are on the border with Purwakarta Regency and helps accessibility for the community, the majority of whom work as traders.
