Sukabumi Regency succeeded in winning the Top 5 Investment Challenge 2024 award at the West Java Industrial Meeting (WJIM) which was held at the Trans Luxury Hotel, Bandung City, Friday 28 June 2024.

The award which was received directly by the Head of the Sukabumi Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) Service, Ali Iskandar, was an appreciation that Sukabumi Regency passed the top 5 regions with the best investment proposals in West Java along with Subang, Garut, Purwakarta and Ciamis Regencies.

Also present at the event were representatives of Bappelitbangda Sukabumi Regency and Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri.

For your information, the 2024 Investment Challenge is a competition activity that is participated in by districts/cities throughout West Java through assessing investment proposals according to the potential of the region.

Investment Challenge 2024 as a strategic activity is the first program organized by DPMPTSP West Java Province in collaboration with Bank Indonesia West Java Province Representative Office.

Sukabumi Regency contributed to the 2024 Investment Challenge activities by proposing a proposal entitled "Development of a Modern Rice Processing Industry". This proposal was prepared by a team consisting of Perumda Agro Sukabumi Mandiri, Bappelitbangda and DPMPTSP, and supported by the Agriculture Service, DPTR and Food Security Service.

This proposal is proposed using the Business to Business (b to b) scheme.
