Dedi Mulyadi: Investment Must Be Friendly and Efficient
Governor Dedi Mulyadi expressed his appreciation to all parties, including the provincial, district/city governments, as well as industry and business players, who have worked together to maintain investor confidence in West Java.
He emphasized that the provincial government is committed to maintaining investment stability and convenience through expedited licensing, infrastructure development, and guarantees of security and legal certainty.
"What we're building is investment. How can investment grow? It must be friendly. Licensing must be fast, infrastructure must be well-built, and the government must be present to provide convenience," said KDM, Governor Dedi's nickname.
Firmly Combating Thuggery and Protecting the Business World
Despite high investment achievements, KDM acknowledged that challenges remain, such as thuggery practices around industrial areas.
To that end, he will instruct the Provincial and Regency/City Manpower Offices to establish a rapid response complaint service for companies.
According to him, this step demonstrates the regional government's commitment to ensuring a comfortable business environment.
"The government cannot simply collect taxes. The government must be present to provide a sense of security. The Manpower Office in each region is required to establish a complaint service for companies," he emphasized.
With this approach, the West Java Provincial Government aims to ensure that the industrial sector and investors have a safe, comfortable, and sustainable space to grow.
Pro-Investment Policies Become a Pillar of West Java's Economic Growth
Dedi Mulyadi's policies in creating a conducive investment climate have had a direct impact on regional economic growth and employment.
The continued increase in investment also demonstrates that West Java is the region most prepared to welcome global and domestic capital flows, while also supporting the national economy.
