The two provinces are West Java and Central Java.
In addition to connecting West Java with Central Java, this toll road is also integrated with several other toll roads. Operating since 2010 since its inauguration, this toll road is called the Kanci - Pejagan Toll Road.
The Kanci-Pejagan toll road is a toll road located on the north coast (Pantura) which connects the West Java region to the Central Java region.
Not only connecting two provinces, this toll road also connects two toll roads on the corridor.
The two toll roads are the Kanci-Palimanan Toll Road in Cirebon and the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road in Brebes.
As part of the Trans Java Toll Road, this toll road was built with an investment of Rp 2.446 trillion. Stretching 35 km, this toll road is integrated with several other toll roads including the Jakarta-Cikampek, Cikampek-Palimanan, Palimanan-Kanci, Pejagan-Pemalang, Pemalang-Batang, Batan-Semarang and Cisumdawu Toll Roads.
The Kanci-Pejagan toll road is also a strategic connecting section designed with a planned speed of 120 km/hour. Where this toll road consists of a road with a number of lanes of 2x2 lanes which were later developed into 2x3 lanes. This toll road is also equipped with 3 Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Ciledug 1, GT Ciledug 2, and GT Pejagan.
In addition, this toll road also has 3 Interchanges, namely the Kanci Interchange, Ciledug Interchange and Pejagan Interchange. The Kanci-Pejagan toll road is also equipped with 2 type A rest areas, namely the rest area at KM 228 A (Java direction) and KM 229 B (Jakarta direction).
The presence of this toll road is not only as a connection between regions, but is also considered capable of cutting travel time from West Java to Central Java.
In addition, this toll road also participates in accelerating the distribution of logistics/movement of goods and people.
