Project Description
Sidawangi Lung Hospital is currently a Class B hospital specializing in lung diseases. It is located on the border between Cirebon Regency and Kuningan. It originally functioned as a sanatorium for tuberculosis, built by the Dutch East Indies Government in 1939. In 1978, its status was changed to a hospital, and in 2002, its management was handed over to the West Java Province. Over time, in 2008, its status officially became the West Java Provincial Lung Hospital. As part of its development efforts, Sidawangi Lung Hospital plans to improve its facilities and services to become a Class A General Hospital. Its flagship programs include lung and respiratory health services, critical care medicine, and lung oncology.
